Whether you’re just starting out or competing at the highest level, XBand adapts to you to help you progress with more control and confidence, XBand turns every match into an opportunity to compete better, train smarter, and advance without limits.

What does XBand offer you?

Without XBand, you do not know the total number of shots made in a match or training session, what type of shots you have made, whether your play in a match is more attack- or defense-oriented, which shot was the most powerful or fastest in a match or training session, or how many break points you have won or lost, …

With XBand, every match truly counts. You get real data on your performance, better understand your game, and turn every training session into an opportunity to improve faster and with greater precision.

With XBand, arguments over the score are over because you control it yourself at every point, and you can share the result of a match with your friends. In addition, you can send your data and statistics to your coach so they can help you progress in your playing level.

With XBand, you can measure your technical level across 14 types of shots and see the evolution of your technique, which you can take as far as you wish.

With XBand, you will have a history of your matches and training sessions in a calendar to consult at any time.

With XBand, you can connect to Hit-x smart courts to see the score on the post and court screens, receive game alerts with image and sound, and even activate the ball launcher on each post. In short, you will feel like a professional padel player.

How does XBand work?

You only need to turn it on and place the XBand on the wrist of the hand you use to hold the racket, using its magnetic strap. The XBand connects to the Hit-x App, and once connected, you can configure a match, carry out a training session, or perform a technique test across 14 types of shots in the App.

It has 3 buttons: with the top button, you can turn the bracelet on and off; with the bottom button, you can view the battery status and adjust the screen brightness; and with the central rotating button, you can move through the bracelet’s 2 screens.

XBand has 2 screens. On the first screen, you can keep score during a match and see the match score instantly, with a back key in case you make a mistake when marking points. On the second screen, you can pause with the pause key and resume a match with the play key, and end a match with the stop key.

If the XBand is connected to a Hit-x smart court, you can activate the ball launcher on each post, provided these posts have this option.

Placement of the Hit-X XBand

The correct placement of your XBand is key to helping you improve your game, ensuring greater precision, more comfort, and an optimal on-court experience.

Place your XBand on the wrist of the hand you use to hold the padel racket, with a comfortable and firm fit using its magnetic strap, so that every data point truly counts. It is designed to accompany you on the court and obtain the best measurements.

Important: XBand records all movements of your wrist, so avoid making sudden, meaningless movements, as these will generate incorrect statistics.

How to charge the Hit-X XBand, check the battery level, and adjust the screen brightness?

Charging XBand is easy, fast, and practical. Place the wireless charging connection cable underneath the bracelet; it is a specific magnetic charger supplied with the bracelet, and connect the other USB end to a standard 5-volt (5V) power adapter with up to 1-2 amperes (A). This adapter is compatible with 100-240V AC and 50-60 Hz outlets, such as standard household outlets.

Charge your XBand to its maximum capacity before going to the court to make sure you do not run out of battery during your match or training session. This way, it will always be ready to accompany you when it is time to compete, train, and give it your all on the court. If it turns off due to lack of battery, the data from the session in progress would be lost.

The battery is designed to be used across different matches and training sessions. Its duration will depend on whether one or several bracelets are used during a match to keep score.

To find out the battery level of our bracelet, simply press the bottom button on our bracelet.

On this XBand screen, the device’s battery level appears in the upper right-hand corner with the battery icon.

The battery consumption will depend on how often you interact with it. For example, it will last much longer if there are several XBand bracelets on the court to keep score during a match, but if only you keep score, the battery will drain sooner.

You can also adjust the screen brightness by touch with your finger, on the blue bar.

How to take care of your XBand?

After each use, clean and dry your XBand to keep it in perfect condition. Proper care protects the device, extends its lifespan, and ensures consistent performance.

So before heading to the court, fully charge its battery, and after playing, take it off, clean it, and dry it well to protect both your skin and the device.

Store it in a dry place free of humidity; your sports bag or paddle bag is a good place to carry it with you.

What is XBand for in a match and how is it set up in the Hit-x App?

The XBand is used in a match, to keep track of the scoreboard score of your match and avoid any disputes about the score at all times.

XBand records all your match activity and collects all game data, from the final result of the match, the duration of the match time and each set, the type of court, which side of the court and the racket you played with.

You will also know the total number of shots made in a match, broken down by type of shot, as well as the record shots of your match in terms of power and speed.

You will also know the points won and lost by each team, along with their percentage.

To set up a match, you just need to have your XBand worn on the wrist of the hand you hold the racket with, and be connected to the “Hit-x” App.

In the main menu “New Match”, only one player out of the 4 players in a match, using their Hit-x App, must define the two members of each team. This player will add the 4 players, connecting their XBand wristbands. If one or more players do not have an XBand wristband, they can be added to the match with their email address if they are registered in the Hit-x App, or otherwise by manually entering their name.

Important: only players with an XBand wristband will be able to see their statistics for that match in the Hit-x App installed on their phones.

The player who sets up the match must also specify the match conditions: Sets (normal set scoring with a 2-game difference or set with a Tie Break), Scoreboard (scoring with Advantage for each game or game with Golden Point), Serving order (only the player from the team serving first and the player from the team serving second). Optionally, they can indicate if the match is an official tournament match with a predefined Referee. They specify the type of court, Outdoor or Indoor, and if the match is played on a Hit-x smart court, it can be connected to it to display the scoreboard on the post screens or court screens if available.

If the match has an Incomplete Setup, a message will appear listing the fields that need to be completed.

When everything is ready, only the player who set up the match in their Hit-x App needs to press “Start Match.”

Players with wristbands can keep track of the match score, it is recommended that only the player who won the point marks it. Players with wristbands can pause and resume the match whenever they want, and to finish the match, they just need to press the stop button on their XBand screen or in their Hit-x App.

With the Hit-x App, players in the match with XBand will see all the match statistics and can share the results on social media. They can analyze their match performance and view and save this data in the Match History.

In the main menu of the Hit-x App, under “My Total Statistics, “Match Statistics”, they will see all the statistics of all matches, the effectiveness of matches “Won or Lost” according to court type, court side, racket used, playing partner.

Tap “Start training session”, and when you finish, you must stop the training session with the stop key on your XBand screen or in the “Hit-x” App on your phone.

Once you have completed your training session, you will be able to see your results for that training session in the App, in your “History”, “Training sessions”, by tapping on the day on which you completed the training session. You will see that the training sessions are labeled as “Free”.

How is my technique level checked with XBand and how is it configured in the Hit-x App?

Without XBand, all coaches rely on observing how we play or train in order to assess and correct our technique.

The XBand has been parameterized by high-level players who have trained and configured an algorithm over years that measures technique across 14 types of shots.

It will help you view that technique test, from an effectiveness summary of all the shots performed, comparing the set target and the correct shots, as well as comparing the target set in terms of Force and Speed, according to average and maximum.

It will give you a conclusion in the form of a comment on this technique test.

To configure a technique test, from the main menu, select the “New training session” option, and enter “Technique Test”, where you can Define target with 14 types of shots, “View sample video” before starting, and “Set target” for a shot with a minimum of 15 shots and set the target Force in km/h.

Once you have completed this type of technique test with one or several types of shots, you will be able to see it in the App, in your training history, where they will be labeled as Technique Test.

Also from the main menu of the Hit-x App, in “My total statistics”, and inside “Technique test statistics”, you will be able to see a chart called “My Achievements”, where it will give you a total effectiveness percentage for all technique tests carried out across the 14 technique shots, as well as the effectiveness percentage for each shot. If you tap on the bar for a specific shot, it tells you the date on which you achieved the best score for that type of shot.
